Teikei twin
choke carburetors are similar for Yamaha XT350, XT600 and Gilera
RC600, RC600R, Nordwest. They are similar in shape and construction
but with different dimensions, naturally.

XT600 Carburetor
Repair and Maintenance:
1) Remove the
seat and the fuel tank.
2) Drain the
carburetor:
2.1- Place
a drain pan under the drain tube coming from the carb;
2.2- Open the drain screw (Fig. 2) and drain the carb float
bowl.
2.3- Close the drain screw.

3) Label throttle
cables. No.1 cable is attached to the top portion of throttle cable
bracket and No.2 is attached to the lower portion of throttle cable
bracket.
3.1- Loosen
No.1 "pull" throttle cable adjuster locknuts (A, Fig.
3) and turn the adjuster (B, Fig. 3) to achieve
max. amount of cable slack.
Att:
Make sure first that you have Throttle Cable Adjustment procedure
handy, later for assembly.

4) Loosen No.2
"push" throttle cable adjuster locknuts (A, Fig. 4)
and turn the adjuster (B, Fig. 4) to achieve max. amount
of cable slack.
